This notice explains how our wiki, wiki.elysianmc.world, handles information about you. It doesn't use analytics, advertising or any kind of tracking. Our main website and our guide have their own notices.
The ElysianMC server team, led by Nyseus. You can reach us at elysian.minecraft.server@gmail.com.
The wiki runs on a server we rent from OVH, a European hosting company. Like almost every website, it keeps a short technical log of each visit: your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser type and the time. The logs are used only to keep the wiki running and secure, which is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. They're kept only as long as that needs and then deleted.
Visitors get no cookies. To load faster, the wiki saves its interface text (button labels and the like) in your browser. If you pick a look (Classic or Elysian) with the switch at the bottom of the page, your choice is saved there too, so it stays that way. Neither is information about you, neither leaves your device, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes both. Everything on the wiki, including images, comes from our own server.
If you become a wiki editor, we create an account with the username and email address you give us in your support ticket on our Discord, and your browser keeps a login cookie while you're signed in. Your edits and comments are shown publicly with your username. We need this to give you the account you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), and we keep it until you ask us to delete it or stop being an editor.
We use your email address and message only to reply to you, which is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We keep the conversation only as long as we need it to deal with your message.
Discord, CurseForge and our store, which is run by Tebex, are separate services with their own privacy policies. They only apply once you follow a link there.
You can ask us what information we hold about you and for a copy of it, and ask us to correct it, delete it (including your wiki account) or limit how we use it. Just email us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Because we rely on our legitimate interest for the server logs and for answering emails, you have the right to object to that at any time, for reasons relating to your particular situation. Email us and we'll stop unless we have compelling grounds that override your interests.
